So, I found ambition tonight. Not that this project isn't ambitious in and of itself, but this particular project was very ambitious. Lots of ombre, some lash glue and craft products. Yes. Craft products. I'm insane ... and I completely forgot how crappy it is to have things glued to your face and have to remove them. My days at PSU in the advanced makeup class taught me two things: prosthetics are AWESOME and latex and spirit gum are evil. Evil because removing whatever you glued to your face with them is painful. Word of advice that I think will make you all better fx artists (even though I am not a pro) glue a prosthetic to your face at least once before you do it to someone else. That way you know what it feels like and what it takes to remove it. It will teach you to be gentle with the models/actors/actresses/what have you that you will be gluing things to. It will make sure that you're not fired and/or rehired. At least that is my .02. Now, on to Makeup 365.
The project:
The makeup:
(Pictured: Original 88 Palette and Neutral palette (which I didn't use after all) by CoastalScents.com, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, MAC Studio Tech in NC15, Make Up For Ever HD Powder, MAC False Lashes, Sephora blush in rose frais (didn't use this either), Sephora palette in Island Oasis (also not used), Sally Girl eyeshadow in turquoise, Smashbox waterproof gel eyeliner, Hot Pot gel eyeliner by Pop Candy, random lashes from my kit, random red lip pencil from my kit, L'Oreal lip color in Milla's Plum, lots and lots of pearls and sparkly things)
And my results!:
Please forgive my lack of editing at all tonight. I was in a house with a screaming Phillies fan while the Phillies lost. If you're from Philadelphia you can understand the issues my creative process was undergoing ...
Needless to say after pealing latex off my face once I removed all of the shiny pretties my skin needed some love. My Lettuce Love mask was on the verge of growing mold, so I decided I better use it and turn in that empty tub to Lush. I and your face beg you to go get this mask or any other mask at Lush. They're lovely!
